Privacy Policy

JICSAW (“we”, “us”) designs and sells gear, apparel, and accessories made for each order, and compares prices where a listing carries more than one. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored only as a secure hash — we never store your password itself).

Activity in the app. Items you save or watch and the contents of your bag, so the app works across your devices.

Feedback and support messages. If you send feedback, we store the topic, your message, the page you sent it from, the email address you choose to give us (it is optional), and the IP address the message came from, which we keep to spot abuse. These messages are emailed to our support inbox so a person can read and answer them.

Order and delivery details. When you buy a made-by-Jicsaw item, Stripe collects your payment and your shipping address and passes us the address, your email, and what you ordered. We send the address and the order to the production partner who makes and ships it for us — they cannot use it for anything else. We keep the order so we can answer questions about it.

What we don’t collect. We do not collect or store payment card details — Stripe handles the card and we never see it. We do not collect precise location, contacts, or photos. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs of any kind, and we never sell your personal information.

How we use it

We use your information only to operate the service: signing you in, syncing your saved items, and sending price alerts you asked for. We don’t use it for advertising.

Store links

When you tap through to a store from Jicsaw, you go straight to that retailer’s own product page. We don’t route you through a redirector or a tracking link, we don’t set cookies to follow you to the store, and we don’t know whether you bought anything. Jicsaw currently earns no commission on what you buy.

Once you land on a retailer’s site you are covered by that retailer’s privacy policy, not ours.

Listing accuracy

Product listings link to real store product pages and show prices we verified by hand on the date marked on each listing — prices change, so always confirm at the store.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time from inside the app (Profile → Delete account) or on the web (Join → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You can also email us and we’ll delete it for you.

Children

Jicsaw is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
